Over the years I have heard many things taught about us not turning to God first with our problems. There have been many lectures on why we do this or that and how we should turn to God first. What most do not realize is in some cases the person can not turn to God because the person is not ready to deal with the situation in his or her life. I know in my life there have been many times when God first started dealing with me about an issue my first response is to run away, but God loves us so much that He continually nudges us back in the right direction. Until the day comes where we can face this situation in our lives and finally take it to the throne of grace. You see going to the throne shines a light into your heart that shows things as they really are and also shows you God’s love for you at the same time. Once you go to His throne and honestly show God your heart then He will begin the healing process. I am at that point in my life now facing what is by far the toughest realization yet. I am thankful God is gracious enough to not have forced me into seeing this before now as I am certain I could not have dealt with it. Is God dealing with you about something today? Are you ready to take it to His throne and let His healing begin? He is waiting.
